Will lodge strong protests against braid chopping, harassment in every district

The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) is organizing public awareness programme in every district in the valley starting from 2Ist till 26th October from District Kupwara to protest against the braid chopping of women & unnecessary harassment of the innocent people agitating against braid chopping. Congress Leaders and workers led by J&K Pradesh Congress Committee President G.A. Mir will lodge strong protest in every district against the misrule and mismanagement on the part of State Govt and seek clarity from the Govt on braid choppings. Commenting on Public Awareness Programme, J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President G.A. Mir stated that Congress Party being a constructive opposition in the State will continue to highlight the wrong and anti-people policies on the part of PDP BJP Govt and will make this unholy coalition accountable and answerable to people. Stating that Congress will fight for the safety and security of people especially women whose modesty is at stake under Mehbooba Mufti led Govt. G.A. Mir said that this is highly deplorable that the conspiracies are being hatched to disturb peace and tranquility in the valley, but Congress will continue to fight against the Forces damaging peace to serve their vested interest, G.A. Mir said. Adding that people are being victimized for no fault of their, Congress President lashed out at Coalition Govt over being unable to unravel the mystery behind unabated braid Choppings, as a result, people were feeling insecure. He said Congress Party will support every initiative benefitting people, but at the sametime, the Party will not compromise on the safety, security and prestige of the people.
